Legal Compliance & Guidance

What is the Triman Logo?

The Triman Logo is a mandatory visual signage system established under the French Environmental Code and reinforced by France's anti-waste law for a circular economy (Loi Anti-Gaspillage pour une Économie Circulaire, or AGEC Law).

Visually symbolized by a human silhouette looking toward three circular arrows pointing forward, the Triman logo indicates that the consumer product or its packaging is subject to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) sorting rules and must not be discarded in general non-recyclable household waste bins.

Accompanying the Triman graphic is the Info-tri sorting standard, which provides precise, illustrated instructions indicating exactly which bin or collection channel accepts each element—whether it is cardboard packaging, paper documentation, or worn plush textiles.

Le Logo Triman & Info-tri

"Le tri + simple" — Products bearing this marking are governed by organized French eco-organism collection schemes to divert materials from landfills.

Official French Directive: Article L. 541-9-3 of the French Environment Code (Code de l'environnement).

Our Circular Economy Commitments

At MengSNS, environmental responsibility begins well before products reach our customers. We proactively design every packaging component to eliminate single-use plastics and support restorative biological and technical recycling loops.

FSC® Certified Paper

All our product tags, protective cardboard packaging, and packing slips are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC Mix or FSC Recycled), guaranteeing responsible forest stewardship.

Soy & Vegetable Inks

We strictly prohibit petroleum-derived chemical printing inks. MengSNS utilizes plant-based soybean and vegetable inks with low volatile organic compound (VOC) ratings for clean de-inking and repulping.

Plastic Fastener Elimination

We have completely phased out nylon plastic kimble tags and plastic fastener barbs. Hangtags are now attached using unbleached organic cotton strings or direct natural hemp twine loops.

European Directives & EPR Registrations

Producer Compliance under ADEME & Eco-Organizations

MengSNS operates in full transparency with European waste management directives (Directive 2008/98/EC on waste, Directive 94/62/EC on packaging) and is registered with the French Environment and Energy Management Agency (ADEME) via certified French Producer Responsibility Organizations (PROs / éco-organismes).
